Nanny’s Kitchen provides individuals with meaningful, hands-on experience in a real working kitchen while building skills that can carry into future employment and everyday life.

With support from staff, individuals have the opportunity to take part in preparing food, following recipes, measuring ingredients, practicing kitchen safety and sanitation, packaging products, completing orders, and learning the importance of teamwork and responsibility.

Nanny’s Kitchen also provides an opportunity to explore what working in a restaurant or food service environment can look like. For individuals interested in employment, the skills and experience gained here can become an important step toward reaching their goals.

Nanny’s Kitchen offers a Monday–Friday lunch menu, giving our community the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal while supporting the work happening behind the scenes.

We also offer freshly made cookies, brownie & muffin trays as well as seasonal unbaked pizza sales, providing additional opportunities for individuals to participate in food preparation, packaging, and customer orders.
