Creating Opportunities. Empowering lives
Since 1952, Avenues has been dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. What began as a commitment to providing opportunities has grown into a trusted nonprofit serving individuals and families throughout our communities with personalized supports that evolve through every stage of life.
Today, Avenues offers a wide range of programs and services throughout Schuylkill, Northumberland, Lebanon, and Luzerne Counties, designed to help individuals build confidence, develop life and employment skills, foster meaningful relationships, and become active members of their communities. Every program is centered around one belief: every person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, work, and thrive.
For more than 70 years, Avenues has remained committed to celebrating abilities, creating opportunities, and building a more inclusive community where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
